How come the LED indicator of the modem terminal does not blink slowly? |

If the modem LED blinks slowly (i.e. 0.75sec on, 3 sec off), physical connection should be fine else check for SIM-Card's validity, SIM-Card holder and antenna should be in placed properly. Care should be taken when you mount the antenna in a clockwise direction. Do not force turn the connector of the terminal. Refer to modem hardware user guide for more details. |

What are the GSM frequency bands used by my local telecom operators?

Refer to http://www.gsmworld.com/roaming/gsminfo/index.shtml. This is also to check for which types of modems are suitable for your local deployment for the best of cost reasons. i.e. dual band or quad band usage.

How to mount the terminal? |

Each TMAS modem terminal comes with rail fixing and two mounting brackets. Place the two mounting brackets at both sides of the base rail slot and have them screwed up onto the desired mounting surface. |

What is the workaround for areas which are not very receptive to GSM coverage or the deployment site is an enclosed area? |

We recommend using a 5dBi high gain antenna (with magnetic base) with a 3-meter cable extension length. Refer to GSM Antenna and accessories flyer
